Ben M. CHEN, Professor
National University of Singapore

Professor Ben M. Chen is currently the Director of Control, Intelligent Systems & Robotics Area, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), and Head of Control Science Group, NUS Temasek Laboratories. His current research interests are in systems and control, unmanned aerial systems, and financial market modeling.

Dr. Chen is an IEEE Fellow. He had served on the editorial boards of a number of journals including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Systems & Control Letters, and Automatica. He currently serves as an Editor-in-Chief of Unmanned Systems and a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Control Theory & Technology.



 

Lian Pin KOH, Professor
University of Adelaide

Professor Koh is the Chair of Applied Ecology and Conservation at the University of Adelaide, and Founding Director of ConservationDrones.org. He is also an Australian Research Council Future Fellow (Level II), a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and a Conservation International Lui-Walton Research and Innovation Fellow. Professor Koh is also the Director of Unmanned Research Aircraft Facility. His was a speaker at the 2013 TED-Global conference in Edinburgh, where he spoke on the positive use of drones. His TED talk has been viewed over 600,000 times by a global audience.

Call for papers


We welcome scientists and academicians from all over the world with a wealth of experience in their respective areas of specialty in drones and computer technologies and applications, policy makers, individuals and practitioners from government institutions, universities, Non-Government Organizations as well as industry or private sector to join us in our conference.

Guidelines for paper submission

IConDA 2017 is now accepting manuscript on original works that are solicited from prospective authors.

  1. Please pay attention to the important dates. Quality papers will be reviewed and notified within FOUR weeks from the date of submission.
  2. Your paper has to follow the IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. The length of paper should be no more than 6 pages in A4 size, including figures, tables and references.
  3. All submission must be made via our OpenConf system website.
  4. Topics includes; but not limited to the following tracks:

IconDA-2017 will be held at Kampus Samarahan 2 of UiTM Sarawak Branch. The campus is about 20 mins drive from Kuching International Airport, Malaysia.
