Ben M. CHEN, Professor
National University of Singapore
Professor Ben M. Chen is currently the Director of Control, Intelligent Systems & Robotics Area, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), and Head of Control Science Group, NUS Temasek Laboratories. His current research interests are in systems and control, unmanned aerial systems, and financial market modeling.
Dr. Chen is an IEEE Fellow. He has served on the editorial boards of a number of journals including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Systems & Control Letters, and Automatica. He currently serves as an Editor-in-Chief of Unmanned Systems and a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Control Theory & Technology.
Lian Pin KOH, Professor
University of Adelaide
Professor Koh is the Chair of Applied Ecology and Conservation at the University of Adelaide, and Founding Director of ConservationDrones.org. He is also an Australian Research Council Future Fellow (Level II), a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and a Conservation International Lui-Walton Research and Innovation Fellow. Professor Koh is also the Director of Unmanned Research Aircraft Facility. He was a speaker at the 2013 TED-Global conference in Edinburgh, where he spoke on the positive use of drones. His TED talk has been viewed over 600,000 times by the global audience.

Lands and Surveys Department of Sarawak
Lands and Surveys Department of Sarawak was the winner of the Geospatial World Excellence Award for Governance of Land Administration and Land Management during the World Geospatial Forum dinner held at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in year 2012. The award was given to recognise the effort of the department in collaboration with Sarawak Information Systems (SAINS) in land administration and and management through i-SALaM. i-SALaM is a single interface GIS centric land information solution that supports a full range of business processes on land matters. The solution integrates digitised cadastral and map databases for land use planning, land title management, land acquisition and land revenue collection management.
Khairul Nizam Tahar (Senior Lecturer)
Universiti Teknologi MARA
Dr. Sr. Khairul Nizam Tahar is currently a Senior Lecturer in Center of Studies for Surveying Science and Geomatics, Faculty of Architecture Planning and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. He obtained his PhD degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia in 2013. He has published extensively in various international journals and conference proceedings. His current research is on unmanned aerial vehicle technology for large scale mapping.
Call for papers
IConDA 2017 is now accepting manuscripts on original works from prospective authors. All papers will be blind-reviewed by at least two independent reviewers and the authors will be notified of the acceptance via email. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE for consideration to be included in IEEExplore. Selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions to be published in SCOPUS indexed journal.
